Once a year the Social Ministry Committee donates its time and resources to Lutheran World Relief. The committee usually alternates between Health Kits and Global Ministry (remember TWO cows last fall?)
During May this year we are collecting for Health Kits, and we are asking for your continued generous support of this project. The kits will be sent next fall about the same time as the quilts.
The items on the list are: bath towel, wash cloth, bar soap, nail clippers, toothbrush and wide-tooth heavy comb (no small, flimsy ones, please). Also, no sample/hotel-size items.
On the bulletin board in the Welcome Center you can see the requested items, take home a list, and make your considerations. The Health Kits we send are a visible, useful sign of our love and care for others.
