Safe Sanctuary: Child Abuse Prevention Policy Updated and Ready
We love our children’s programs! VBS, Sunday School, Drop & Shop, Junior Church and more all give our kids a solid grounding in faith and community — and all require many adult volunteers.
As a church, we are responsible for the safety of the children in our care, and our Safe Sanctuary policies help us in that regard. After careful research and revision, our policies have been updated and are ready to go!
New for 2019 and beyond: A Volunteer Application form and interview; a Behavioral Covenant and background checks, and annual Child Abuse Prevention training offered Weds., March 27th at 10AM or Sunday, April 7th at 11:45AM for all volunteers who work with children.
