On Sunday, February 12th we hosted a LifeShare Blood Drive at St. Jacob’s and joined together to make over 100 Valentine cards!
Although it’s not glamorous, almost anyone can donate blood, and blood donation literally saves lives. That’s liveS: not just one life, but may liveS. In fact, each pint of blood donated can save FOUR lives, yet fewer than 5% of people who could donate, do. We joined together at St. Jacob’s to turn that statistic around! More than fifteen people participated in the Blood Drive, and we also had a lot of help making Valentine’s Day cards for residents of St. Luke’s Community.
