UPDATE: Thanks to your generosity 31 Hope Totes were delivered to Haven of Rest!

The 2021 Hope Tote Campaign is underway, and Haven of Rest needs your help to collect 3,000 Hope Totes for men, women and children who are struggling in Summit, Stark, Portage, Medina, Holmes, Tuscawaras and Wayne counties this Easter.

What’s a Hope Tote? Glad you asked! It’s a plastic bag filled with personal care items such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant and much more. These are basic items that hurting and homeless people need to remain clean and confident while they try to get back on their feet. The Hope Tote Campaign is a meaningful way for you, your family, your church or business group to make a difference.

The Social Ministry Committee is asking the congregation to help gather items for Haven of Rest Hope Totes which are distributed at their Easter service and dinner.  Shopping lists will be posted for your convenience.  You may buy everything for one Hope Tote or various items as you choose!  OR you can include on your giving envelope a donation of $15 designated for Hope Totes and we will do the shopping for you!  The collection is from February 28th through March 14.  A box is available at the delivery door to leave your items.
