St. Jacob’s Scholarship Fund to give scholarships for the 2018-19 year
The St. Jacob’s Scholarship fund has gathered enough earnings that we will be able to grant scholarships for the upcoming academic year. This is a tiered scholarship program. Those enrolled in seminary will receive $300 or more per year. Those enrolled in an ELCA college or university will receive $200 or more per year and those enrolled in an accredited college or university will receive $100 or more per year.
To apply, a student must have sophomore status. Each college student may receive up to three years worth of scholarships. Students must have been active in the life of St. Jacob’s as a high school student. An informational sheet and application may be obtained from Pastor Schafer. Applications are due by June 1 and Awards will be made by August 1 and will be paid directly to your college or university.
