During this time of social distancing, it was important to find a way to bring Easter joy to the SPARK kids of our congregation. Our SPARK Sunday school team joined forces to "Egg" each house on the Saturday before Easter. 20 plastic eggs filled with candy or toys were hidden in the yards of the homes of each child -- with one egg left empty to represent the empty tomb of Jesus Christ.
Children enjoyed the egg hunt, and even though they could not be present physically with their friends on Easter Sunday, the spirit of Easter blessed them in new and different ways.
